Wheel thrown, hand painted and carved porcelain mug. Microwave, oven and dishwasher safe. Holds 16-18 ounces and measures approximately 4.5” high by 2.75” wide at the rim. I find that this round belly shape keeps my coffee hotter than other shapes because of the smaller surface area on the top. It’s a pleasure to hold and it’s the mug I grab each morning! All of my surface work is created with underglaze (liquid pigmented clay) using a variety of brushes, slip trail bottles, and carving tools.
